2021 Registration is OpenFirst Tee — Utah Safety Procedures for Junior Golf Programs:
- Online pre-registration only, no day-of registrations.
- Please come ready with clubs and playing supplies, water, hats, and sunscreen applied.
- Group sizes will be limited.
- There will be no shared equipment. Kids should bring their own clubs and supplies. If your child needs to borrow clubs, please call 801.663.6963 or email [email protected] to make arrangements prior to class.
LIFE SKILLS - 2021 Dates: Thursdays, June 3-July 22 ($125 per child)PLAYers will be contacted and assigned times for the lessons depending on the amount of participants. Classes will be scheduled between 8 AM and 12 PM on Thursdays. PLAYer 1: Entry level for age 7-9. Introduction to the Life Skills Experience: focus on 9 Core Values, interpersonal skills and basic golf technique. Must be 7 to enroll. PLAYer 2: Entry level for age 9+. Completing PLAYer level education for ages 7-9. Participants have learned all 9 Core Values and begin focus on rules, etiquette, and terminology components. If you are not 9+ you must be 7+ and have completed PLAYer 1 level. PLAYer 3: Entry level for age 11+. PLAYer 3 participants are mastering the PLAYER curriculum, demonstrating the 9 Core Values and completing PLAYer level certiﬁcations. If you are not 11+, you must be 7+ and have completed PLAYer 1 & 2. PAR: Completed PLAYer Level and be a minimum age of 9 – Par Focuses on interpersonal communications and self-management skills. Birdie Complete PAR Level and be minimum age of 11. Birdie: Completed Par Level and be a minimum age of 11. Birdie focuses on setting goals and making them reality. Program Cost: Life Skills Program $125 Program Includes: The First Tee Membership Professional Instruction Golf Polo Discounted Range Balls for $1 per Bucket. (One Bucket Per Visit)

Participants will need to sign up for their individual tee times at the Pro Shop. Start times will be posted online thehillsgolf.com Monday evening after 6:00 PM. Every player and parent is required to review and agree to our Code of Conduct. Our primary goal is for the student to be exposed to some of the positive values that golfing can provide, such as: Respect, Courtesy, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, Honesty, Integrity, Confidence, Perseverance, and Judgment. Formats: INDIVIDUAL PLAY OPTIONAL SCRAMBLE LEAGUE (2-4 person teams) Introductory level player. Program Cost: Junior Golf League $125 Program Includes: The First Tee Membership Awards Banquet (TBD if possible) Green Fee’s Each Week Snacks Each Week Trophy Golf Polo Discounted Range Balls for $1 per Bucket. Online REGISTRATION PROCESS!!! PLEASE READWe use an online registration portal. Please follow the steps below. Step 1: After clicking on the Register button below, click on the LOG IN button in the top left corner. Log in or create a new account. (Returning users should use the same email address used in past registrations.) Step 2: Register your child for your desired class by adding the class to the cart. Step 2: Once you add your child(ren) to the cart, click PROCEED TO CHECK OUT. Step 3: Continue the registration by filling out the participants contact information and answering the questions. Step 4: Checkout and pay for all sessions and all children you are registering all at once.
HOW DO I APPLY FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE?First Tee — Utah will never turn a child away from our Life Skills Experience Programs for the inability to pay. We work with families so their child may participate in our programs. ONLINE PROCESS!!! Please Read Applying for Financial Assistance is part of the registration process. Please follow the steps below: Step 1: Register your child for your desired class by adding the class to the cart. Step 2: Once you add your child(ren) to the cart, click PROCEED TO CHECK OUT. Step 3: Continue the registration by filling out the participant's contact information and answering the questions. When you get to the Financial Aid Page, please click that you would like to apply. Answer the questions and click continue. Step 4: Select the participant(s) that you would like to receive consideration for aid. A notification will be sent to the First Tee — Utah staff and we will review and approve your request. Step 5: Upon approval you will receive an email with directions to complete your registration. Please note you ONLY have 48 hours to log back in and finalize. If you do not log back in, your registration will be voided, your child’s space will be released, and you will need to start the process over. The First Tee as a nationwide organization will now be asking the following mandatory questions as part of our registration process for anyone who wants a scholarship for their child:
- What is your household income?
- Are you receiving free or reduced lunch?
- How many people are in your household?
- Are you experiencing a financial hardship?
- How much are you able to pay (if any)?
